Operator Loops
Operator Loops turn one-off prompts into repeatable operating rituals. ShopMCP supplies the live commerce context, certified playbooks, action packet, and readback contract; Claude or ChatGPT can run the loop manually or on a supported schedule.
Think in loops, not prompts
A prompt asks for an answer once. A loop defines the operating rhythm: what runs, when it runs, what evidence is required, who owns the next action, and when the result should be checked again.
- Prompt:
What happened last week? - Playbook:
Run the Weekly Trading Deck - Loop: Every Monday, run the trading deck, produce one owner-led action packet, and read it back next week.

Public loop packs
These are the first loop packs ShopMCP exposes because they map cleanly to existing certified playbooks and action-packet contracts.
weekly
Monday Trading Loop
A weekly trading review that turns last week's sales, customer, channel, and payment signals into one owner-led follow-up for the week ahead.
Why run it
Run it before the week starts so leadership is not reacting to disconnected dashboards. The loop picks the highest-confidence issue, labels missing evidence, and sets a readback date.
Required integrations
Commerce platform, Ad platform, GA4, Klaviyo, Stripe, Google Search Console
weekly
Paid Growth Risk Loop
A weekly paid-media risk review that turns spend waste, creative fatigue, and account anomalies into a KILL, REFRESH, or WATCH queue.
Why run it
Run it before budget changes so the team can separate real waste from learning-phase noise, weak tracking, or missing commerce context.
Required integrations
Ad platform
weekly
Agency Client Risk Loop
A weekly client-risk triage that ranks the client or workspace needing attention and packages the evidence into an AM-owned next step.
Why run it
Run it before Monday planning so the agency starts with the client risk that has evidence, not the loudest Slack thread or latest dashboard panic.
Required integrations
Commerce platform, Ad platform
How to schedule a loop
Run the loop manually once before saving the schedule. Keep the write boundary in the prompt so scheduled runs produce an evidence-backed action packet instead of making consequential changes.
ChatGPT setup
- Open ChatGPT on web or mobile and confirm ShopMCP is connected in the workspace you want to use.
- Open Scheduled from the sidebar, then create a new task. You can also paste the prompt into ChatGPT and ask it to create the task.
- Set the schedule to every Monday at 8:00am in the store or operator timezone.
- Enable the notification channel you actually check, then run the loop manually once to confirm the output includes evidence, owner, approval posture, and readback date.
textEvery Monday at 8am, run the Monday Trading Loop using ShopMCP. Review last week's trading performance, explain what changed, and return one action packet with evidence, owner, approval posture, and next readback date. Do not make platform changes.
Claude Cowork setup
- Open Claude Desktop, switch to Cowork, and confirm ShopMCP is available in Cowork.
- Create a new Cowork task, paste the loop prompt, and run it once.
- Type /schedule in that Cowork task, or open Scheduled in the left sidebar and choose + New task.
- Set the schedule to weekly on Monday at 8:00am, then confirm the scheduled task when Claude asks.
textSchedule a weekly Monday 8am task: run ShopMCP's Monday Trading Loop. Use the connected commerce source as truth, add GA4/ads/lifecycle/search/payment context only when available, and finish with one owner-led action packet plus the readback date. Do not perform writes.

What ShopMCP adds
- Certified playbook routing instead of loose prompt memory.
- Connected commerce, ads, lifecycle, search, payment, and feed evidence where available.
- Action packets with owner, evidence, approval posture, and write target.
- Readback fields so a loop checks whether the action worked.
- Fail-closed caveats when data, permissions, or connected-platform coverage are weak.
